Servus in Munich and welcome to the cosmopolitan city with a heart! In summer, the Bavarian capital is transformed into a paradise of lush greenery and cooling water. The clocks tick differently, cars drive slower, priorities change – anyone who comes to visit now will fall in love!
Munich lights up! Once again in the summer sun. Come to the Isar and experience the unique flair of Italy’s northernmost city!
Stroll through the empty Viktualienmarkt in the quiet midday heat. Climb the Alter Peter and let your gaze wander – into the blue sky all the way to the Alps! Enjoy your lunch on the fashionable Maximilianstrasse at the
Brenner Grill
the Buffet Kull or at the
Max Trenta
and then an espresso in the shade on the Italian-style Odeonsplatz or in the Hofgarten, before heading to the chic Perrier Jouët roof terrace of the Mandarin Oriental for an aperitif.
Visit the
art gallery
where exciting exhibitions such as Thierry Mugler Couturissime or Jean Paul Gaultier often cause a sensation. Admire the dashing surfers on the Eisbach right next to the Haus der Kunst, before casting furtive glances at the naked people in the English Garden, while you yourself float away in the cool water.
Enjoy the Bavarian way of life – live and let live – in the beer garden, with Munich’s best ice cream from
Ballabeni
or in the countless terrace restaurants.
Experience the Munich summer feeling that we love so much!
YOUR ITINERARY
We invite you to get to know Munich “with best friends”! In our favorite boutique hotel at the top of the Friedensengel, at a gin tasting and on a private city tour, which is of course put together entirely according to your wishes, while cycling through the English Garden or along the Isar, in the beer garden and during private shopping.
#1 – Servus in Munich
If you are not traveling with your own car, we will pick you up safely and relaxed with your own chauffeur at the airport or train station and take you to Bogenhausen, to the
Hotel München Palace
– diagonally opposite Munich’s delicatessen institution Feinkost Käfer.
Arrive in peace and quiet and let it tingle as you unpack! A demi-bottle of champagne awaits you in your room at the hotel! As soon as you are ready, one of the hotel’s charming bartenders will be happy to meet you in the Palace Bar. A three-way gin & tonic tasting is all about new, trendy gin and tonic varieties.
In the evening, chef Kevin Kecskes will spoil you with a 3-course menu including a bottle of wine for two in the cozy Palace conservatory or under the open sky on the airy terrace in the enchanted garden.
#2 – Discover Munich
Good morning in Munich! After breakfast, your personal guide awaits you for a 2-hour city tour, which will be tailored to your wishes and interests.
Then you are free to do exactly what you feel like doing!
Our tip: Visit our friends Birgit and Maximilian Oberbigler at the
Munich Manufactory
and get to know real Munich traditional costume and fine fashion at your
private shopping event
at your private shopping event. Whether in a dirndl or lederhosen – you’ll look smart and feel really comfortable!
Alternatively, for all foodies and gourmets, we organize a private tour of the
Käfer flagship store
with a visit to the legendary rarities cellar in the wine department.
As an additional shopping treat, we have a 10% voucher for Munich’s best-known department store
Ludwig Beck am Rathauseck
for you.
In the evening, we recommend a visit to the beer garden – for example at the Seehaus on Kleinhesseloher See. Simply grab a bike in front of your hotel, which is available to you free of charge at the Palace.
#3 – Enjoy Munich
Get a good night’s sleep and start the day in comfort! After breakfast, we recommend a visit to the Kunsthalle München in Theatinerstraße.
If you still have time for lunch and fancy some real Bavarian delicacies, we will reserve a table for you at the Spatenhaus on Max-Joseph-Platz. Fine dishes made from regional ingredients and a fabulous view of the Bavarian State Opera round off your stay in Munich. And:
You are right in the middle of it, instead of just being there.
