An institution in San Francisco! For over 166 years – the Tadich Grill. It could hardly be more American, but at a good and very typical level. Classic waiters in white jackets, they don’t talk much, but give an authoritative feeling. And they know what they are doing, they know every dish – the catch of the day or the service of a real martini, which even Humphrey Bogart would have raved about. The menu features oysters next to shrimp cocktails or mussels, filet mignon next to rainbow trout or lamb. The best quality is served here without a lot of frills. Seafood is recommended in San Francisco anyway. The restaurant is usually packed – For waiting times, we recommend the long bar with its dark wooden counter and comfortable chairs. Always a great pleasure!
