Felix Fichtner is the founder of Murmelz and Mr Food and Travel. He was born with foodie and travel genes. He discovered his passion for cooking and first-class products as a child. His great curiosity about other countries, cultures and people soon led Felix out into the world. Mr. Food & Travel is a dream come true: a selected collection of food, drink and travel from all over the world. Annalena Erb is dedicated to content creation for our social media channels and our Mr. Food & Travel blog. As a trained visual marketing designer, creativity is in Annalena’s blood. After studying International Relations and Management and the associated stays abroad, she began her career in print and social media marketing at Feinkost Käfer. Here she became an expert in special dishes and drinks. As a passionate amateur chef, she is always open to new recipes, restaurants and products.
Jannik Ernst completed a classic apprenticeship as a hotel specialist at the 4* Superior Hotel Allgäuer Berghof before devoting himself to his tourism management studies. During his internship semester in Product & Partner Management at the experience platform Jollydays, he gained a wealth of experience in marketing and account management in the further development of experience offers. In the Murmelz team, Jannik provides active support in the areas of marketing, social media as well as in the management of the online magazine, the online store and in the planning of trips for Mr. Food & Travel.
Annette Hanisch has lived and worked in Bodrum, the charming hotspot on the Turkish Aegean coast, for many years. With her company Bodrum Consulting & Translation, she advises and supports a primarily international clientele that has settled in Bodrum. Annette Hanisch also writes for various Turkish magazines, reports on her travels and explorations from the remotest corners of her Turkish adopted country and has already published several books on the culture and history of Turkey. She is supported and accompanied by photographer Ömer Dogan, who captures the natural life of the country and its people in his pictures like no other. In her column, Annette Hanisch also shares her “hidden gems” with all readers.
Georg P. Huber is a trendsetter and MICE specialist with over 25 years of experience on the international stage. He is passionate about creative and individual hotel and restaurant concepts in the luxury segment that combine state-of-the-art technology with sustainability in an authentic way. In his private life, Georg P. Huber enjoys wines, exciting cocktails and unusual drinks, which he occasionally discusses on Mr. Food & Travel.
Reporter and globetrotter – Anne Kathrin Koophamel is passionate about both. Born in Munich, she has traveled almost once around the globe. In his luggage: a book, a notepad and Bavarian heart and soul. She writes reports from countries near and far, travel guides about her home country and portraits of celebrities. What appeals to them? “The imperfect. People with breaks in their lives, places that are still developing or cities that seem unapproachable at first glance.”
Kirsten Lehmkuhl has been working as a journalist and copywriter in Germany and the Balearic Islands for 20 years. As a real foodie, she naturally devotes herself to her favorite topics: food & drink. As a member of the editorial board on Mallorca, she launched the weekly newspaper Mallorca Zeitung and the glossy magazine MallorcaHEUTE. Kirsten Lehmkuhl is a proven expert on the island’s gastronomic scene and has visited every bodega. And because Mallorca is currently developing into a culinary hotspot in the Mediterranean region, she presents the most exciting restaurants on Murmelz Food & Travel.
Martina Sommer is a food & travel journalist with over 25 years of expertise in the starred cuisine & luxury hotel industry. After her studies and traineeship, she worked for Der Feinschmecker, Esquire and Forbes, VIF and the Diners Club magazine. Martina Sommer has been writing as a freelance journalist about outstanding culinary and travel experiences for Der Feinschmecker and various clients from the business world for 15 years. She presents her very personal, international collection on Murmelz Food & Travel.
Ömer Doğan works as a freelance photographer in Turkey. For the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, he spent years documenting historical sites, typical agricultural products and traditional crafts in his south-eastern Anatolian homeland. In recent years, he has made a name for himself primarily as a travel photographer and regularly publishes features in the in-flight magazines of Turkish Airlines and Anadolujet. Together with author Annette Hanisch, he has published several books on the culture and history of various regions.
